HIST 232 - Renaissance and ReformationCredits: 5 Examines intellectual, religious and cultural change during the Renaissance, Reformation and scientific revolution in Europe, approximately 1350-1650 CE. Gives attention to Renaissance politics and society. Explores Reformation from religious and cultural perspectives, as well as competing early modern cosmologies through a comparison of the witch-hunting craze with the nascent world of modern science.
Prerequisite: Eligible for ENGL& 101 or instructor’s permission. Satisfies Requirement: Social Science
