HUMAN 200 - Latin American Women: Struggles and LiteratureCredits: 5 Introduces the study of Latin American Women’s struggles through important literature produced by Latin American women, to explore the historical construction of masculinity and femininity in the region, the role of politics and ideologies in that construction, the intersection of gender, race, class, ethnicity and nationality and the social movements that have impacted the lives of women in the region.
Prerequisite: Eligible for ENGL& 101 . Satisfies Requirement: Humanities/Fine Arts/English and Diversity
