Overview
The BAS degree in Cybersecurity and Networking is designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of information technology (IT) positions, such as information security analysts, network and computer systems administrators or computer support specialists.
This degree provides students with the opportunity to acquire a deep technical foundation and competency in cybersecurity and networking. Students will learn how to analyze the security vulnerabilities of an organization’s IT resources, and how to plan and implement security measures and practices for those resources. Students will learn how to plan, implement, administer, secure, and support appropriate information technologies and systems to help an organization achieve its goals and objectives. Information technologies and systems may include: servers, client computers, mobile devices, operating systems, network applications, local area networks, wide area networks, wireless networks, network segments, intranets, and so on.

Graduation Requirements:
- Completion of an associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Students must attain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 on all college-level courses.

Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:

- Plan and implement security measures and practices for an organization’s information technology resources.
- Plan, implement, administer, and support appropriate information technologies and systems to help an organization achieve its goals and objectives. - Evaluate user needs and use those needs to plan the implementation of information technology systems that meet those needs.
