Administrative Assistant, AAA Curriculum Map

The Administrative Assistant, AAA  prepares students for a general administrative environment, including both technical and soft skills.

Some BTAC classes are part of an I-Best program with an additional instructor to support students with basic reading, writing, and math skills relevant to the requirements of the industry.

Students may test out of BTAC 101 into BTAC 102.

Dual Credit and Academic Credit for Prior Learning- Students who have completed classes at another school with a GRC CTE Dual Credit agreements or students who pursue and obtain Academic Credit for Prior Learning may be able to apply those credits towards a degree or certificate. Students will need to work with an academic advisor for confirmation.

This is a sample plan. Each academic plan is customized to meet the student’s needs and interests and may need to be adapted in response to prerequisite needs, course availability, scheduling conflicts, and changes to student needs. Typical Fall Start for Quarter 1, including summer quarter with number of credits required depending on funding model. Not every BTAC course is offered every quarter; careful planning is required for timely degree completion.
