This certificate is designed to prepare students to enter the IT field by addressing foundational technical concepts that are needed for the IT field such as the introduction to Python language, an over of of IT hardware and software and the fundamentals of Internet Protocols and addressing. This certificate ensures student is ready for Information Technology-Cloud Fundamentals Certificate  and Information Technology-Scripting Fundamentals Certificate .

Dual Credit and Academic Credit for Prior Learning- Students who have completed classes at another school with a GRC CTE Dual Credit agreements or students who pursue and obtain Academic Credit for Prior Learning may be able to apply those credits towards a degree or certificate. Students will need to work with an academic advisor for confirmation.
