Course Outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:

Discuss understand the relationship between art and society in the Romantic period to the present.
Define the function of art, to clarify, intensify, or otherwise enlarge our experience of life in the Romantic period to the present.
Discern styles in western art history from the Romantic period to the present.
Trace the centuries of change, a topical record describing how things, places and people lived as recorded in their art in the Romantic period to the present.
