ACOMP 115 - Technical Algebra/Trigonometry 1 Credits: 5 Study of solving equations, solving formulas, proportions, percents, calculator operations, measurement systems, geometry, and right triangle and oblique triangle trigonometry. For technical students only.
Enrollment Requirement: MATH 70 with a grade of 2.5 or higher or appropriate math placement.

Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Solve linear equations.
- Solve formulas.
- Solve proportions.
- Solve percent problems.
- Compute using a calculator.
- Compute English/metric conversions.
- Compute using geometry formulas.
- Use right triangle trigonometry to solve problems.
- Use oblique triangle trigonometry to solve problems.
