JOURN 199 - Independent Study-Journalism 2 Credits: 1-5 Encourages students to study and develop independently in journalism. Students develop their own focus areas and objectives in consultation with the instructor.
Enrollment Requirement: JOURN 198 and instructor consent.
Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Complete a special project to be agreed upon by student and instructor, based upon the general objective of further learning and development in the field of journalism.
Program Outcomes Apply relevant criteria and standards when evaluating information in terms of how it will interest and inform their audience.
