WWT 172 - Industrial Wastewater Instrumentation Credits: 1 Covers basic concepts and industry practices regarding wastewater treatment instrumentation measuring systems and their associated control systems.
Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Explain the purpose and nature of measurement and control systems.
- Recognize types of sensors and transducers.
- Read instruments and apply the information to industrial wastewater treatment processes.
- Identify measurement and control system problems.
- Operate treatment process support equipment

- Evaluate treatment processes using SCADA systems.
