WWT 180 - Wastewater Collection Credits: 3 Topics include composition and sources of wastewater; purposes of wastewater collection systems; wastewater collection system components including preliminary treatment, piping systems and lift stations; wastewater collection system operation and maintenance including inspecting, testing, and cleaning; normal and abnormal operating conditions.

Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Identify parts of a wastewater collection system.
- Identify equipment used during maintenance of wastewater collection system.
- Describe standard operating procedures within a wastewater collection system.
- Describe indicators of normal and abnormal conditions in a wastewater collection system.
