AVIA 223 - Advanced Weather Planning Credits: 3 Covers aviation weather planning theory. Practical applications of weather planning as both a pilot or dispatcher. Students will learn not just how to read the weather text, but to interpret weather sources for operational planning purposes.

Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Identify and interpret aviation weather reports.
- Identify the various sources from which up-to-the-minute aviation weather information can be obtained.
- Demonstrate their understanding through tests and various critical thinking tasks.
