Students form software development teams to review and apply foundational concepts in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive web pages. Introduces agile methods, version control systems, hosting environments.

Enrollment Requirement: Admission into the Information Technology-Software Development, BAS program.

Course Outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:

Create modern, responsive web pages using Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
Explain how web pages and applications are deployed, hosted, and managed.
Define concepts in version control systems, including repositories, commits, branches, and merges.
Apply workflows within Git and GitHub to collaboratively manage shared repositories.
Identify and describe the elements of Scrum, including team roles, events, and artifacts.
Demonstrate effective communication within a team and with project clients.

Program Outcomes

Develop stable, robust, secure, and efficient code following best practices in database design and software construction.
Communicate with technical and non-technical project stakeholders, and within project teams.
