IT 214 - Cisco Certified Support Technician Cybersecurity Certification Preparation Credits: 5 Covers a variety of cybersecurity topics including: security principles, network security and endpoint security concepts, vulnerability assessment and risk management, and incident handling. The activities in this course include many hands-on assignments to help students better understand the technical material presented in the course.
Enrollment Requirement: IT 131 or instructor consent.

Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Describe essential security principles.
- Describe basic network security practices, and configure basic network security settings.
- Describe and configure endpoint security.
- Describe Vulnerability Assessment and Risk Management.
- Describe Incident Handling, and perform basic Incident handling planning tasks.
