Psychology is a scientific discipline that has many applications in everyday life. Some psychologists do research and analyze data. Other psychologists apply the discipline’s scientific knowledge to help people, organizations, and communities.

- PSYC& 100 - General Psychology Credits: 5
- Elective
All courses numbered 100 or higher may be taken as electives, except Basic Skills and no more than 3 credits Physical Education. Courses should include preparation for a major and/or general interest/leisure-time activity.
Transferability of Credits
Green River College is fully accredited. Academic courses will usually be accepted by other institutions offering the same (or similar) courses. However, each institution has its own transfer policies and each student is responsible for knowing the transfer and admission requirements of the receiving institution. Students are urged to consult with their advisor and a representative from the college they plan to attend after Green River. |
