Medical Front Office Certificate Curriculum Map

This Medical Front Office Certificate program provides students an opportunity to develop essential medical front office/reception skills. After completing the program students will be qualified to secure employment as a medical front office receptionist in an entry level position. Students in this program must complete each class with a grade of 2.0 or higher. Many of these credits may be applied to other Business Technologies and Administrative Careers degree programs. Students may enter this program at the beginning of any quarter.
Dual Credit and Academic Credit for Prior Learning- Students who have completed classes at another school with a GRC CTE Dual Credit agreements or students who pursue and obtain Academic Credit for Prior Learning may be able to apply those credits towards a degree or certificate. Students will need to work with an academic advisor for confirmation.
Sample Schedule
This sample schedule is provided as a guide for a full-time student eligible for ENGL& 101 and appropriate math. This curriculum map assumes a fall quarter start. A customized curriculum map will be needed for students starting the program in a different quarter and with other circumstances. Not every course is offered every quarter: careful planning is required to complete the degree in the fewest number of quarters.
