The biology degree path emphasizes research methods, data collection and analysis, the scientific method, and research. This includes primary research where students are collecting data in each of the majors biology courses. The curriculum relies upon an inquiry-driven approach and prepares students for transfer into four-year institutions and careers in biotechnology, medicine, microbiology, zoology, wildlife, botany, and education.
