Practical Nursing, AAS Part-time (Online) Curriculum Map

Green River College offers multiple pathways within its Practical Nursing (PN) program to accommodate diverse student needs. The Full-Time LPN Program is a face-to-face option spanning three quarters, with students completing 15 credits per quarter. The Hybrid Part-Time LPN Program follows a hybrid model over six quarters, combining hybrid coursework with in-person lab, clinical and simulation sessions one evening and one day a week. The Online Part-Time LPN Option follows the part-time program’s structure but provides additional flexibility, incorporating a majority online coursework with weekly in-person sessions one day a week (typically Saturday) to accommodate clinical, lab, and simulation requirements. This option is well-suited for students balancing work or other commitments while pursuing their nursing education. Additionally, a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) to LPN pathway is available within the full-time, hybrid, and part-time programs, allowing qualified MA-Cs to earn two lab credits upon successful completion of a skills test.

Prospective students must complete the admissions prerequisites and apply for the program for admissions. See nursing site for more information.
