MATH& 151 - Calculus ICredits: 5 The first course of a four-quarter calculus sequence. Introduces students to differential calculus and related applications. Topics include limits, derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions, optimization, linearization, numerical methods, modeling. Graphing calculator required.
Prerequisite: MATH& 142 or MATH 106 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; or appropriate placement math placement. Satisfies Requirement: Natural Science and Quantitative Skills
