PHIL 110 - Social and Political PhilosophyCredits: 5 Introduces students to the major themes of social and political philosophy, including justice, forms of government, revolution, liberty, equality, and civil disobedience. Sample topics include: What is a just distribution of income? What is the best form of government? Should there be limits to free speech? Is one ever justified in disobeying the law?
Prerequisite: Eligible for ENGL 099 or instructor’s permission. Satisfies Requirement: Humanities/Fine Arts/English
