ENGL 162 - LGBTQ LiteratureCredits: 5 An examination of stories, poems, and work of other genres addressing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) identities. Applying lenses of culture, race, nationality, religion, and history, the course examines LGBTQ literature’s interactions with cultural and historical constructions of sexuality and gender. Coursework includes critical/cultural theory, writing, and research.
Prerequisite: Eligible for ENGL 099 . Satisfies a humanities/fine arts/English and the diversity course requirement. Satisfies Requirement: Humanities/Fine Arts/English and Diversity
