ATECH 119 - Special Shop Practice Credits: 1-12 Practical application and development of skills acquired during study and application of competencies listed in course modules ATECH 111 through ATECH 118 . Emphasizes development of a positive attitude toward work ethic, cultural and gender diversity, personal and workplace safety, and hazardous materials handling and disposal.
Prerequisite: ATECH 110 and instructor’s permission. Eligible for READ 104 .
Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and performance ability toward certification and employability.
- Demonstrate proper work ethics and customer and peer relations with emphasis on cultural and gender diversity.
Program Outcomes Demonstrate safe shop practice and hazardous material handling.
