AVIA 221 - FAA Written Test Preparation for ATP/Dispatch Credits: 2 Prepares students for the FAA’s written test for either the Airline Transport Pilot certificate or Dispatcher certificate. Focuses on aircraft performance, weight and balance, weather, and appropriate federal regulations.
Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Prepared to take the Federal Aviation Administration’s written tests for either the Airline Transport Pilot certificate or Dispatcher certificate.

- Prepare for an entry-level position as an Aircraft Dispatcher.
- Employ understanding of the integral parts of the global aviation industry through practical application of comprehensive aeronautical principles.
