IT 240 - Windows Server Administration II

Gives students the ability to administer and troubleshoot a Microsoft Windows Server network infrastructure.

Prerequisite: IT 160 or instructor’s permission.

Course Outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:

Implement and secure Domain Name System (DNS).
Implement Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM).
Implement Direct Access and Remote Access solutions.
Implement Distributed File System (DFS) and BranchCache.
Describe advanced network infrastructure solutions.
