TS 020 - Transitional Studies Academic Orientation and Planning Credits: 1-8 Prepares Transitional Studies students for success in their program and prepares them to transition to college programs. Students explore college readiness skills, set meaningful academic and career goals, and create a portfolio for prior learning assessment. This is a pass/no credit course.
Prerequisite: Instructor’s permission.
Course Outcomes: Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Set meaningful educational and career goals.
- Demonstrate college readiness skills.
- Create a portfolio for career and college readiness and/or prior learning assessment.
Program Outcomes Demonstrate the skills necessary for successful transition to college credit courses and/or living wage employment.
