GERM& 222 - German V

Systematic review of German grammar. Practice in listening, speaking, reading, and writing at an intermediate level. Oral practice through scaffolded conversations and discussions of selected German texts and media.

Enrollment Requirement: GERM& 221  with a grade of 2.0 or higher or placement by a language instructor; eligible for ENGL 99 .

Satisfies Requirement: Humanities/Fine Arts/English

Course Outcomes:
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:

  1. Discuss the historical and lingering impacts of Cold War and reunification.
  2. Improve oral and written fluency by using conjunctions and relative clauses.
  3. Analyze texts in German from literature and media.
  4. Use the hypothetical in all tenses.
