Psychology Concentration

Planning to transfer to a University to pursue a degree in psychology?

Green River College Psychology Department offers a concentration in psychology on your Associate in Arts Degree, AA-DTA .

Students may choose to complete this concentration of study and have it posted to their transcript ONLY when the student successfully completes the Associate in Arts Degree, AA-DTA . Otherwise, courses taken will transfer to four-year universities on a course-by-course basis only.

Students are urged to consult with their Green River advisor to plan their programs of study. Students are also urged to consult with a representative from the university they plan to attend.

Students must complete the concentration courses with grades of 2.5 or higher.

Only general psychology (PSYC&100) and one 200-level psychology course can count towards the Social Science distribution, the rest will fall into generally transferrable or electives.
