Ceramics Concentration

23-25 Credits

Students may choose to complete this concentration of study and have it posted to their transcript ONLY when the student successfully completes the Associate in Arts Degree, AA-DTA degree and/or the Associate in Fine Arts, AFA . Otherwise courses taken will transfer to four year universities on a course by course basis only. Students are urged to consult with their Green River advisor to plan their programs of study. Students are also urged to consult with a representative from the university they plan to attend.

Requirements

ART 115 - Pottery 2 Credits: 3-5 - 5 credits required
ART 180 - The Artist’s Portfolio Credits: 3
ART 251 - Ceramics 1 Credits: 5
ART 252 - Ceramics 2 Credits: 5

Plus choose 5-7 credits from the following:

ART 106 - Intermediate Drawing Credits: 5
ART 111 - Painting 1 Credits: 5
ART 253 - Ceramics 3 Credits: 5
ART 275 - Independent Study-Ceramics 1 Credits: 1-5
ART 276 - Independent Study-Ceramics 2 Credits: 1-5
ART 277 - Independent Study-Ceramics 3 Credits: 1-5
