BIOL& 242 - Human Anatomy and Physiology 2Credits: 5 Second of a two-quarter sequence covering the study of human structure and function. Includes the study of endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Explores mechanisms of common human disease processes. Laboratory component includes anatomical studies using microscopy, palpation, and dissection and the study of physiological concepts via experimentation. Prepares transfer students for careers in health professions.
Prerequisite: BIOL& 241 with a grade of 2.0 or higher; and eligible for ENGL& 101 . Satisfies Requirement: Natural Science or Lab Science
